The hotel is generally not very clean, the food is monotonous and the selection is limited, but if you're hungry, you'll always find something to eat. A shuttle bus to the beach runs every hour. The beach is very shallow, about half a meter deep; shoes are recommended because the bottom is rocky. The waiters at the pool are lazy, with constant lines at the bar and a constant lack of beer. The entertainment is poor, repetitive, and monotonous.

We stayed for 2 weeks in September as a family of 3. Arriving at the hotel we were greeted by staff, taken to the executive lounge, given all the hotel information and then escorted to our rooms via golf buggy. The room was clean, spacious and met all our needs. Muhammad, the cleaner on the 1600’s floor is a credit to the hotel, he went above and beyond to make sure my little lad had a fun animal or figure on his bed every single day. Always spoke to us and wished us a pleasant day and made sure we had water in our rooms. However, if you’re going PLEASE take bug spray- mosquitoes are rife due to the lagoon and flies in the day are unavoidable. We ended up with two plug ins and spraying the beds as my partner was bitten relentlessly. The lagoon itself is unused and a very murky colour- boats are not in use. Which was a shame. Waterpark was easy enough to get to, life guards over there welcomed us each day and made a fuss of my little boy. Hit and miss with what slides he is allowed to go on? Said he had to be a certain age- but he’d already been on it. It was quickly resolved and some slides children have to go on with an adult due to weight restrictions- the lads monitoring the slides where brill sorting it all out and helping us navigate. Beach- shuttle bus runs to and from the hotel every 30 mins to the sister hotel. Went once, Mohammed at the beach bar was fantastic and truly made us feel welcomed. The beach itself is comfortable and you can jump off the pier into the sea at set times. We had a lovely time snorkling and looking at the coral and fish. The main pool beach bar- ice cream available and Mohammed and Eslam really made sure we were looked after and were ALWAYS willing to help carry drinks or ask if we needed anything else. Lifeguards at the pool- Ali, this young man is truly a credit to the hotel. He would seriously do anything to ensure we were okay, comfortable etc. He would often locate beds for us, move things around help us carry towels. Such a lovely young man, we gave him our inflatables because he gives them to new families arriving so they can have fun too. All the lifeguards were on alert, always watching, having fun with the kids (hiding the dolphin on the top of the parosel 😂) honestly never felt safer at a pool. They were watching at all times ensuring everyone was safe. Food- hit and miss. Pasta is what we lived off for most of the holiday. But it’s like that in many all inclusives. Perfume shop in the hotel- hard seller. Packaged everything up without giving us a price and then when given the price was £150+ (English) we refused and he kept pushing so we left and got cheaper outside the resort. Pushy butterfly salon people- told me I had bad skin on day 1 of my holiday and attempted to sell me a package for facials. Another attempted to sell my parter a 3 tier massage package after giving him medical advice on sciatic nerve pain ?? Not interested but continued asking. Entertainment is shocking- they do the best with what they have but songs are repetitive, loud and I don’t want to do stretching or aqua gym every morning. Nothing to entertain the kids- no water polo, games in the pool etc. Foam party is on the beach and is disappointing. Night entertainment- starts at 2200hrs- extremely late, mini disco at half 9?? The Bingo is overpriced, confusing and half the time you have no idea what he’s called cause he switches the numbers around with what language he’s speaking. Tickets also either don’t have the number called or have 2 of the same. they’re all young kids trying to do anything they can- they’re polite and hardworking and would interact with the kids. The two lads who paint the names- fantastic, brilliant little business there and we had so much fun. We booked with an excursion company in the lobby too, with marcello- this was reasonably priced and everything was dealt with professionally. No pushy selling, just lots of information and a chance to think it over. Not resort related- avoid the KFC at the airport! Has made me very sick the day after.

Giving one star is really too much. We stayed in this nightmare hotel for one night because our return flight was canceled, and the airline took us to sleep for the night. The entrance smelled wonderful, but as soon as we stepped into the elevator...horrible, everything was dirty. Not to mention the room: dust, dirt, hair on the sheets, a dilapidated bathroom.
