The hotel lost its "luster" a long time ago. All, literally all, of the furnishings are outdated. The owner's stinginess is evident, starting from the fact that he only served mango once (in 7 days) (this fruit comes in over twenty varieties in Egypt, including watermelon) and that there was no watermelon at all! Apparently, you can fill up on anything. I confirm... the fries saved me. At lunchtime, there were no free seats in the main restaurant, not to mention tables (there are literally only THREE two-person tables)!!! The staff's knowledge of English was very poor. The waiters mastered one word "finish?" and took away the plate! It happened twice that due to the lack of free seats, we were forced to come later (2:45 p.m. lunch to 3:00 p.m.) and the boss of all bosses, a certain Mukhamed, said we had to finish because they were closing soon. Sorry, but despite my lack of perfect English, I expressed my thoughts and why we came late (during the restaurant's opening hours). You can talk and talk to the staff serving "meals" and they continued... in Russian. I was ashamed to speak this language (I had been learning it for a while). (I'm from the fifth grade of elementary school and then on through high school and even higher education)... and I can say many, many phrases and sentences. I haven't commented on this yet, but the hotel occupancy is 80% Russian, Kazakh, and Mongolian!!! All the entertainment is in the language you know. Gym... 7 p.m. and the lights go out!!! Great idea!!! What was I supposed to do with the weights in my hands? Throw them on your own foot or the foot of the person working out next to you (because I saw her when the lights were on). By the way, the equipment is from 1998 (description on the nameplate). I've been to the gym several times in the mornings and I was literally alone like a finger (and the light was on for no one). Why in the mornings... because it's first come, first served, and there's a fight over sunbed reservations on the beach. Who was the leader? Russians. A towel on a sunbed, and the person who reserved it for breakfast... pile as much awful food on your plate as possible, save half, and order vodka in the morning. DRAMA! Maybe The cleaners tried to tidy things up, but they only tried to keep things tidy despite their "baksheesh" 🫣. As for the garden... IT WAS NEAT and that's it. The gardeners' work was top-notch 👏. The big downsides: for me, the food and service in the main restaurant, all the equipment, the entertainment not for everyone who knows Russian, the staff's lack of intervention when booking sunbeds, the lack of fruit 🍉 🥭, the huge amount of 🇷🇺 and their behavior (but I was somewhat prepared for that), pool towels were only changed by the cleaners the next day. Towel cards would have solved the problem. The staff's poor command of English, except for the reception, taxi service, and waiters in the à la carte restaurant (I should add that there are 5 free ones). The sporadic amount of seafood (I didn't mean fried or smoked fish, but 🍤🦐🦞🐙). What about A plus? 🌞 weather and 🌊. As usual, 100% reliable. A la carte restaurants - meals from the main restaurant are better served 😂, but I tried every single one. I recommend them all. The main restaurant is very poorly organized with larger numbers of guests. Proximity to the SSH center. The reef 🪸 is still there... we have to meet a very nice moray eel. It's impressive in person. Personally, I won't be returning to this hotel. I recommend the Marsa Alam region and my favorite hotel, Sirena Resort & Spa. Cleanliness, newness, an advantage 🇮🇹🇨🇿, although it's deteriorating year by year 🪸. 🐠🐟 are still there.

The hotel itself is not bad, but the food is tragically tasteless, the corals are poor, and swimming from the pier is uncomfortable.

My experience at the Monte Carlo Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh was absolutely fantastic! ★★★★★ I want to express my sincere gratitude to the entire staff for their respect, sophistication, courtesy, and politeness. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail. I especially want to thank Mr. Mahmoud, who speaks Italian at the reception, for his warm welcome, smile, and exceptionally respectful and courteous service. Honestly, his first impression of the hotel was excellent. The hotel is simply wonderful: The cleanliness is superb, the food is varied and delicious, the view is breathtaking, the organization and service are top-notch, and every detail reflects a genuine commitment to guest comfort. And what's even better is the feeling of comfort and care throughout my stay. Honestly, for me, it's a 5-star hotel and more. The service and attention to detail are truly commendable. My deepest thanks to the hotel management and every member of the staff for this wonderful experience. It's definitely an experience I'm proud of and hope to repeat. ❤️

My friend and I stayed at this hotel in November 2024. We had an exceptionally pleasant experience. Check-in was quick and easy, and manager Mahmud did everything he could to ensure our vacation began from the moment we arrived – we felt like we were in the caring hands of a hospitable person. The reception staff speaks English and Russian, which was very convenient. We booked a standard room but received one with a sea view. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The beds were huge and comfortable. The grounds are stunningly beautiful and well-kept. There's a great pier and a gorgeous reef. Comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas provide real shade. The food was okay, nothing special, but we had crab and king prawns a couple of times. Lamb was plentiful. The breakfast smoothies were delicious. All issues were resolved promptly: if we needed an iron, we were there (they brought an ironing board), extra shampoo or conditioner, and hangers in the closet were a piece of cake. We also asked for two more robes for the beach on windy days, and they were provided without any fuss. I dropped off my laundry and received everything as good as new. In short, we had no complaints about the guest service, only positive emotions. We were very pleased with our vacation. In terms of price and quality, the hotel is completely worth its money. The location is also very convenient. And most importantly, there are no high or low tides, like in other Sharm el-Sheikh bays; the sea is always open and accessible for swimming. For those who come to Egypt to swim and watch fish, this is an excellent option. The evening entertainment is modest. The hotel is more suited to relaxation. In the evenings, it is quiet and calm. The clientele is varied: families with children, groups of friends, and single men.

People are good, don't go to this hotel. What the hotel promises is nothing!!!!

  • The photo shows children's slides, but I didn't see them; it must be an old photo. But that doesn't affect the overall impression. I liked everything.

It was our 3rd year in sharm and at this hotel. I never thought l would ever be the person who returned year after year to the same hotel but after coming to this hotel for our honeymoon, I just fell in love with it here. I can't say enough for the beautiful hotel. It is set in lovely grounds and has fantastic facilities but truthful as wonderful the hotel is, its the staff that makes us return year after year. All the staff and i truthfully mean all staff from grounds staff to management have the best beautiful attitude and they are like our family. They can't do enough for you. Its the amazing staff here that makes this holiday feel like we are returning to our second home year after year. If you want a place to rest, reset and relax surrounding by beautiful gardens, perfect views and fantastic food then this is the place you need. It also has a lovely spa. The shops within the hotel are all individually manned by friendly staff and are all cost effective. Fantastic hotel and perfect holiday year after year.

The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The reef near the pontoon is poor and pale; you need to swim out about 20-30 meters to see the beautiful marine life. The rooms are a bit tired, but they clean them daily. The food is monotonous but delicious. The reception staff is friendly only on the day of arrival, but after that, they're reluctant to resolve any issues.
