Sharm Reef Resort

For a three star hotel, I am very satisfied. Service is impeccable. The room, with bathroom and balcony is spacious and well furnished. Top a/c. I don't know what the snack bar by the pool is doing, but it left a sour smell in the pool area in the afternoon. The spa department was very tired, but very skilled masseurs. The food was so-so, but it doesn't taste bad.

The positives are many: the staff is fantastic, both in the dining room and on the beach. The latter are fabulous (Ahmed in particular), and they let everyone swim with their own equipment. The food is good and varied, no lines, buffet service, but drinks are brought by them, always with a smile. Exceptional cleanliness everywhere, spacious rooms, quiet and efficient air conditioning, the resort is small and decidedly charming. We also enjoyed the à la carte lunch and dinner, and the mixed fried fish and risottos were good. The entertainment staff is unobtrusive, always present, and very friendly, everyone, without exception, but Aurora and Chiara (the "kid" of the group) especially. Negatives: one is solvable, the other impossible. One easily solvable problem is providing the entertainment staff with good tools and equipment; the sound and microphone system are truly awful. The only thing that's impossible is access to the beach, with over 100 steps from the beach to the restaurant and reception. I do not recommend this resort for elderly people, small children with strollers or prams, or anyone with orthopedic or mobility issues.

The room was clean, but the furniture was quite shabby. The beach was far away, connected by a shuttle. The restaurants on the beach were paid for separately (so much for an all-inclusive deal!). The food was excellent, but overall I found the management of the few services I requested to be terrible: Wi-Fi was only available at reception; in-room charges apply. The late check-out fee was ridiculous: €45, more than half the cost of an overnight stay, for an extra six hours (at 6 PM instead of 12 PM) and not even a room available. The worst part was that they couldn't confirm the room's availability until the day and time of check-out: is it possible that a hotel doesn't know if and which rooms will be available at least a day in advance? In Sharm, for the same price, you can find better options.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was great, but the staff truly made it exceptional. Their kindness, attentiveness, and outstanding hospitality went above and beyond our expectations. We would absolutely love to come back!

We stayed here for 7 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We took to the staff immediately. They were incredibly dedicated to our needs. We highly recommend it, as the value for money is excellent.
