Savoy Sharm El Sheikh

Excellent resort, the best in Sharm, the staff is always attentive and helpful, a special mention to Ahmed and Mr. Rida, very kind people, it's the 5th time I've been here and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend it.

I'm currently staying at the Savoy Hotel from September 26, 2026 to October 3, 2026. I'll start by saying I've been coming to the Red Sea for at least two weeks a year for over 35 years. I usually tend to change resorts to explore new places! But I've never had such a bad experience! We're a group of 15 people, we booked the resort in advance, we understand that the resort is very large and we ask at the time to be all in the same block... We arrive late at night, around midnight, and we discover that all our rooms are located in different places, very far from each other... but of course they tell us that there's nothing they can do... I enter my room, it's a nightmare, it smells of damp and sewage like crazy... I go to reception and ask to change rooms and after several grumbles on their part they find me an alternative, but I have to carry my luggage myself. The new room in block 7000 is very large, very dated but all the standards are like this... finally at 2 o'clock I wash up to go to bed but my sink fills up and the water won't go down... I should add that to get to the new room I have to leave the hall and go near a parking lot... but the nightmare continues. There are 5 restaurants included but there are too many of us and we can't book them. Some have lunch at 1 pm, others at 2 pm and others even in another restaurant... why??? It's not clear and no one can explain it to us. They send us from one place to another but no one solves the problem... the staff apart from the guest relations... are really unhelpful and rude from the reception to the waiters... we haven't found a single kind person... moreover, compared to the other resorts they don't give you an identification bracelet so for everything you have to sign and you have to give your room card.. to top it all off this evening we return from the village to the hotel. The bar closes at midnight. Free drinks are at 11:52 pm and they refuse to give us drinks... with arguments and shouting from us and the staff. Our rooms often smell like sewers... what can I say, for me it's really shameful. A 5 star is scary, we are a group of experienced travelers and capable of adapting but if I go to a 5 star I expect a service up to par.... for this reason I advise against choosing this poorly managed resort.. courtesy they really don't know what it is!!
