Golden Heights Aqua Park

This hotel is very bad, I don't recommend it. There's no safety, the hotel is completely dilapidated.

Don't book, run away!! The worst experience you could ever have. The room is filthy, the sheets are a mess and stained, as is the blanket. The paint on the wall is peeling from dampness, and the air conditioning isn't working. If you're used to sleeping with air conditioning on, you won't be able to sleep in this room. I tried two rooms there, and the air conditioning had the same problem. The minibar isn't working either. The bathrooms are unclean, and the room itself, due to its lack of cleanliness and the fact that it hasn't been renovated in a long time, has a depressing atmosphere. The view is very nice, but if you care about decent accommodation where you can at least sleep, my advice is to run away.

The dirtiest place in Dahab. The swimming pool is awful, never cleaned, full of disgusting people, and has high chlorine levels. In the rooms, you'll find syringes lying under the beds. The food is inedible. The place is far from the city. The sea is disgusting. Forget about snorkeling; it's a disgusting place.

Honestly, the hotel's view is amazing. The food is good, but not bad. Sometimes they make mistakes; there was a burnt meal once, so if you have children, be sure to have an alternative. But considering this is a hotel in Dahab and they're offering two meals, it's good because there are more expensive places with much worse food. The rooms are large and have a sofa bed and two queen beds, so you won't have any trouble getting your children to sleep. Even if there are six of you, the room will fit. Literally all the rooms have a view of everything in the hotel and the sea. The problem is that you feel like everyone is doing everything. For example, the bartender is in the restaurant, and the restaurant staff are doing maintenance on the water. The urinal isn't very clean; some has a smelly odor, and the other urinal has an abnormal amount of chlorine, to the point of damaging your skin. Of course, there are polite people at the hotel, which is good, but the biggest drawback is that they don't have a restaurant or cafe open at night. It's usually only open around 9 or 10 pm. It closes even though they should take advantage of being far from the promenade and provide service to guests. They should cooperate with food requests, for example, if you're out or with children, or something like that. There are no exceptions; always have an alternative and get your own things. I've gone on too long. If you're coming to relax and enjoy a nice view at a reasonable price, come. If you're looking for quality, there are better hotels elsewhere.

The rooms are very clean. All the appliances work. The place is quiet and has a nice atmosphere. The food is absolutely terrible, and it would be best to cancel the open buffet and reduce the number of items on the set menu while increasing their quality. The restaurant is not equipped to accommodate all guests, especially during peak season. Guests had to queue to wait for a table to become available. Good luck to the hotel management, and it won't be my last time here, but I won't eat at the restaurant again.

The service was respectful, the hotel has a world-class view, and the people are polite and friendly. The only downside is that they close the pool early. The beach is nice for people who like rocky shores. The water park is reasonably located, although its location is far from the promenade. However, the hotel provides breakfast, so I don't think you'll need anything more unless you have children. Since they provide a car to take people to the promenade, you can buy what you need while you're outside and return. The place is excellent; I think I'll stay there again when I go back to Dahab.
