I recently had the pleasure of visiting La Meridian Resort in Dahab on a guest day. The experience was truly five-star. The resort boasts a stunning pool, a relaxing sauna, and a picturesque beach, all of which added to the luxurious feel of the place. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the food. The buffet offered a diverse and delicious range of dishes, catering to all tastes. The quality and variety of the food were exceptional, reflecting the resort's commitment to providing a top-tier dining experience. The only drawback of La Meridian Resort is its location. It's somewhat far from the main city of Dahab, which might be a consideration for those looking to explore the town. However, the resort's tranquil setting away from the hustle and bustle could also be seen as a plus for those seeking a peaceful retreat. Overall, La Meridian Resort is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and excellent service in Dahab. The serene environment, combined with top-notch amenities, makes it a memorable destination.

I love the vibe. The hotel is full of hidden gems. It has 2 salt water pools and one fresh water. The rooms are spacious and very pleasing. Several restaurants offer breakfast and dinner.

After a liveaboard on the Red Sea for a week suba diving, we spent the next week in Dahab at Hotel Le Mèridien. We went in July, which is their summer. I have never experienced heat like this before.. the average was about 38°C. But South Africans never complain.. they have fun! There was more than enough space to cool down in the swimming pools, and all rooms had air conditioning. It was a bit hot, though, to go to the market in the day (we tried), but early evenings worked like a charm. The market at Dahab is mind-blowing... there is everything you can think of. From jewelry (hubby bought me the most beautiful set of earrings of blue opal) to delicious food, to clothes etc etc. It's kind of like a flea market, but more interesting. And you ALWAYS haggle with the price :) Ladies, you don't have to cover up. I went with shorts and tank tops, or short dresses with straps, and never had an issue. The food at the hotel was delicious. There was so much variety every morning and evening that I barely managed to try all the food after a week. Fresh bottled water is available from the hotel, so there is no need to buy water. I would say a week is a bit long because there is only that much you can do in the insane heat during the day. But it was still a worthwhile experience!
