I completed my SSI Open Water and nitrox certifications at Camel Dive Club in September 2026, and I can't recommend them highly enough — especially my instructor, Ali. I'm a flight instructor by profession, so I know what good instruction in a safety-critical activity looks like. Ali is exactly that. He let me perform every skill myself and corrected me afterward, rather than doing things for me — that's how real learning happens. He insisted on a full buddy check before every single dive, even when it was just the two of us, building the safety habits that matter for a lifetime of diving. His briefings were clear, his patience was endless, and by the end of four days I was diving with confidence I didn't expect to have this early. The facilities matched the instruction: a proper training pool that let me focus on technique before moving to the sea, well-maintained rental equipment, and a professional operation from front desk to boat. I did my theory online before arriving, and Camel had the materials assigned to me promptly after booking, which saved me a classroom day exactly as promised. If you're getting certified in Sharm el-Sheikh, come here — and ask for Ali.

Our room was comfortable and well kept and the onsite dive shop was excellent. We booked a snorkeling trip through them and it was one of the best organized tours we did during our time in Egypt. What we will remember most though is how well we were treated when we both became very sick during our stay. We were unable to keep fluids down and I had a high fever. In the middle of the night the hotel arranged for a doctor to come and see us. He was wonderful. He was kind, calm, reassuring, and took the time to properly assess what was happening. We were both incredibly grateful to have someone like that looking after us. The hotel manager and staff were also very helpful afterward and personally assisted us with getting the additional medication we needed. You really learn a lot about a hotel when something goes wrong and the way the staff looked after us meant a great deal. We felt genuinely cared for with follow ups from both the doctor and hotel staff.

We had a great stay and time at the Camel Dive Club and Hotel. The hotel is perfect for divers! We loved that the meals were ready for us each morning too in their attached restaurant. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the AC was great! The pool is also so nice and right in the center of all the rooms. We especially love the Diving with the Club. The diving is great made even better by Camel’s divemasters too. Moustafa and Mohammed were our guides! It was nice staying at the club because the dive club dropped us off first back at the hotel. There were gear rinse stations too!

It's our second time at Camel Dive, and we'll be back again for sure. Everything is top-notch: the location, security, hotel, dive centre, instructors, food and drinks and the service is out of this world, including the guys at reception. çok nezih, temiz, sakin bir otel. çalışanları çok yardımsever ve nazik. kedilerine bayıldık. continental kahvaltı lezzetli (peynirleri biraz sıradan sadece; daha kaliteli ve birkaç çeşit peynir sunullabilir bence). donurmacısında mutlaka dondurma yiyin. oldukça merkezi konumda, hard rock café hemen arkasında ve tüm diğer restoranlar, kafeler, dükkanlar birkaç adım. plaja yüz elli metre. deniz zaten muhteşem. Bir dahaki sefere dalış için de geleceğiz 👌tek eleştirim anlaşmalı olduğu plaj işletmesinde kafeste maymun tutulması. 2026 yılında bu manzarayı görmek zorunda kalmak korkunç....
